KSM66 is the only Ashwagandha product in the world produced with 100% control from seed to finished root extract. The raw material for KSM66 is grown on our own organic farms and all manufacturing, development and control takes place in our own production facilities - approved for pharmaceutical production.
The first study on KSM66 was published in 2012 and since then 30 more studies have been completed, 22 of which are published - all studies are double-blind, placebo-controlled and randomized.
What further distinguishes KSM66 from all other Ashwagandha is that it is extracted with GREEN CHEMISTRY, a method developed according to ancient Ayurvedic knowledge, using only milk and water.
The result is a full-spectrum extract containing the same complexity and distribution of active substances as dried root - i.e. both water and fat-soluble substances - but in 10 times higher concentration, standardized on the six main withanolides.
KSM66, which is a pure root extract, does not contain alkaloids, withaferin A or withanone - substances that can be cytotoxic and liver-saving and that can be found in dietary supplements that also include leaves.
The reason why leaves are used in food supplements is that they are a significantly cheaper raw material.
In traditional Indian medicine (Ayurveda), it is always the root that is used - never the leaves - as these contain substances that are not healthy to eat for a long time.
KSM66 is the most widely used Ashwagandha extract in the world and is found in over 2,000 different products in the USA, Asia, Australia and Europe. The annual use of KSM66 outside India amounts to about 2 billion daily doses, equivalent to about 33 million jars of 120 capsules. Despite its widespread use, no serious side effects or drug interactions have been reported.
The KSM66 is sold both in stores and free online.
